Montreal’s Kaytranada laces Mobb Deep with heat

In celebration of the 20-year anniversary of a classic hip-hop duo, Mobb Deep, fans will get a 31-track double album, The Infamous Mobb Deep. The collection includes a few new tracks and the duo’s classic The Infamous. With only 11 producers featured on the project, Montreal’s Kaytranada makes the cut, teaming with Prodigy and Havoc on their single, “My Block”. Known for mixing hip-hop, electro and disco into one, Kaytranada exhibits his versatility by doing a strictly hip-hop beat for the legendary duo. The latest single has been labeled as Queensbridge’s anthem, giving shine to Kaytranada, a rising producer from Montreal. Simone Lewis
