That’s why it’s great to see the super-group Czarface showing the natural sweetness of collaboration with the single “Nightcrawler”.
Set to be on the group’s upcoming sophomore album, Every Hero Needs a Villain, the hardcore track shows Czarface’s Inspectah Deck and 7L & Esoteric are on top of their game – and the chemistry between these superstars is impeccable.
The song sets up menacing verses using a repetitive mix of old school scratching and a sampling technique that Wu fans are bound to recognize.
Deck’s fellow Wu-Tang alumnus, Method Man, joins the talented trio for a verse with attitude in his signature style.
Keeping alive the group’s comic-themed appeal, “Nightcrawler” includes samples from classic cartoons that are catchy enough on their own and make you feel like a Saturday morning superhero.
