Toronto singer Elcee invites listeners for a night of fun with him and his team on the smooth-sounding record “How You Feel”.
Mixing some rap elements with his well-sung lyrics, Elcee brings a versatile blend on this track, showing his audience that he has the capability to do a few things with his vocals.
Another interesting aspect of the De Juan Graham-produced “How You Feel” is Elcee’s interpolation of lyrics from Montell Jordan’s classic 1995 hit “This Is How We Do It”. Singing some of the recognizable lines from the 20-year-old single helps Elcee set the tone for his record – one about having fun and enjoying the moment.
In the 5000 Pound Films-directed video for the catchy record, Elcee is seen meeting a young female and convincing her to join him in a night of fun prior to and at a house party.
Upon the conclusion of the visuals, the scene of her interaction with Elcee is altered, as she passes up the opportunity to have quite an enjoyable experience. Sometimes, you never know when you may be missing out on something great.
