46 New Apps Coming the Xbox One, Only a Select Few Coming to Canada

APParently there will be an app for just about everything as Microsoft has now announced that 46 new apps will be added to the Xbox 360 and Xbox One by the end of the year.

ShowTime Anytime, NHL and Comedy Central are some of the notable apps coming to Microsoft’s catalog of offerings. Apps like Twitter, HBO GO, and Major League Gaming are already available on the Xbox 360, and will be available on the Xbox One as well soon.

Vine, iHeartRadio, MTV, Starz Play, USA Now, KDrama, Filmbox, and various Disney apps will also be added to Microsoft’s catalog which will contain over 225 apps by the end of the year.

However, not all of the offerings will be available for everyone, especially when it comes to gamers in the North. Canadians will only have access to nine new apps on the Xbox One and four on the Xbox 360. Currently there are only 12 total apps available for Microsoft’s next gen system for Canadians.
