The annual Canadian Film Centre (CFC) BBQ is the place to be every year on the Sunday afternoon closing out the Toronto International Film Festival. Filled with movers and shakers, it is an event that beats red carpet stargazing for film buffs. The barbeque allows for rubbing shoulders with the masterminds that put those stars in place: directors, casting directors, producers, writers, filmmakers and more. It is a true celebration of the importance of Canadian cinema and the crucial hand the CFC has in pushing the industry forward.
