As the June 2 release date for his impending album At.Long.Last.A$AP draws near A$AP Rocky leaves a trail of new joints leading up to the finish line. Fresh off the heels of “Everyday” Rocky drops video-accompanied track “LSD”.
The mix of hallucinogenic visuals with the hypnotic neon lights of Tokyo’s Shinjuku district, while Rocky maneuvers dreamy vocals over a whimsical beat, makes for one hell of a trippy cocktail.
The Dexter Navy directed video stars Rocky and his formidable, but beautiful love interest Yoon, Co-founder and Creative Designer of Japanese fashion brand AMBUSH.
The mix of hallucinogenic visuals with the hypnotic neon lights of Tokyo’s Shinjuku district, while Rocky maneuvers dreamy vocals over a whimsical beat, makes for one hell of a trippy cocktail for the video’s first half.
About three minutes in, the music shifts and Rocky drops a verse detailing his lavish lifestyle while in a room curiously brimming with light fixtures. The segment lasts about a minute and a half before we’re warped back into a Tokyo wonderland.
