If you’re looking for truly authentic, well-crafted, Toronto-inspired gear to celebrate the 2016 NBA All-Star game, then the Mitchell & Ness pop-up shop is definitely worth stopping by this weekend.

Inside Toronto’s Get Fresh Company, located at 498 Queen Street West, the Philadelphia based retro clothing company, along with the NBA and Maple Leaf Sport Entertainment, is bringing some unique threads to The 6ix.

As you enter the space you’re greeted by a fitted given a truly All-Star treatment with its Swarovski crystals and diamonds spelling out T-O-R-O-N-T-O.

If that’s too flashy for you, the folks at Mitchell & Ness have throwback jerseys and hats worn by some basketball’s greatest players, including Shaquille O’ Neal (Lakers), Shawn Kemp (Sonics) and Kobe Bryant.

“I love this city,” says Mitchell & Ness marketing rep, Adam Herstig. “This is the biggest footprint we’ve had thus far. We’ve done stuff for other All-Star [games] in previous cities, but we have a great relationship with the Raptors.”

“The kind of stuff that Mitchell & Ness does fits in with what the city of Toronto’s about.”

Herstig adds, “The kind of stuff that Mitchell & Ness does fits in with what the city of Toronto’s about.”

The company pays homage to Canada and Toronto with a ton of Raptors and “We The North” inspired looks including a series of black and gold toques, varsity jackets, hoodies and hats.

The pop-up shop features key lifestyle collaborations with Don C./Stance, Reigning Champ, Legends League and the highly anticipated black and white apparel and headwear collection.
