In this social media age, it’s virtually impossible not to have seen all the hilarious “memes” that frequent message boards and media sites. So unless you’ve been living under a rock, OnCue’s new video “No Way” from the album Angry Young Man is bound to have you cracking up as he references and puts his own twists on your favourite memes and other media mishaps. The creativity of the video is captivating as it begins with the first person view of someone starting up their Apple computer, surfing the net and clicking on various social sites and photos that come to life as OnCue raps them into existence. The theme of “No Way” isn’t unfamiliar as OnCue talks about his past struggles and determination to be successful, but when he spits “you ain’t gotta sell your crib, no mama” you can’t help but believe he’ll reach his goals no matter what.
