Amid all the conflict erupting in the streets of Baltimore, Maryland over the death of Freddie Gray, several artists have been speaking and spitting their thoughts on the situation. The latest coming from Mark Battles with his lyrically conscious “Tired”.

Battles vents his views on social injustice in America and how it has impacted black people and himself personally. The first words from Mark set the tone, spitting “I just wanna leave, we just wanna leave. Discussions about justice but they out here killing kids.”  No catchy hooks just one fluid verse that gets straight to the point.
