Award winning and multi-platinum artist Kardinal Offishall has joined the Universal Music Canada (UMC) A&R team as a Creative Executive Director. In his new role with UMC, Kardinal will help uncover and develop Canadian artists. Born and raised in Toronto, Kardinal, known as Canada’s ‘hip-hop ambassador’, is considered one of the country’s rap music pioneers. As a successful artist with hit singles and critically acclaimed albums, Kardinal will work directly with the UMC’s marketing, promotion and communication teams bringing his expertise to the table.
