Action Bronson is up to his usual tricks in “Baby Blue,” the latest single off his 2015 album Mr. Wonderful. On this particular record – despite the feel good mood offered by the Mark Ronson produced instrumental – Action Bronson and Chance The Rapper both use their verses to detail their feelings towards their previous significant others, coming off as honest, but never over the top. This balance is an essential component of the track, putting both artists in a space to drop a flurry of funny quotables within their laid back flows—using playful lines that make for really fun stanzas. Almost as entertaining as the lyrics, is the accompanying video, which depicts Action Bronson in different hilarious situations. And with Action’s crooning on the chorus, this one is bound to keep playing in your head well after song has finished.
