As rapid fire lyricist Tech N9ne preps for his new album,Special Effects, scheduled for a May 5, 2015 street release, he’s decided to put out the album’s intro as the first single from the project. “Aw Yeah? (interVENTion)” is an aggressive two minutes and 54 seconds of Tech having a conversation with God, discussing the evils and sins that plague the earth and questioning if this is the way things are supposed to be. You can hear the conviction and emotion in Tecca Nina’s voice build, as the song progresses and it’s clear the statements and questions he’s discussing are truly part of him. He wants God to answer him back. Having such a powerful song as the intro to Special Effects and dropping it as the first single, Tech N9ne definitely will have listeners wondering what direction his latest LP will be heading.
