Over the last few months, Urbanology Magazine worked in partnership with a special group of eight young people – six artists and two documenters – to create a special multimedia production entitled “The Reason”. The purpose of this project was to bring together young people from both sides of youth/community violence to discuss the issue and put together a single/video to speak to their thoughts, experiences and feelings. We hope that both the lyrics and the video provokes thought, starts dialogue and inspires change. This project is dedicated to all the young men and women whose lives have been cut short because of violence. May you rest in paradise. Enjoy.
