People from all walks of life gathered in downtown Toronto June 20 to ensure the legacy of a great man would never be forgotten. The Freedom Walk, organized by not-for-profit organization Mandela Legacy Canada, was an epic event in honour of Nelson Mandela. The walk was one step in promoting Mandela’s vision of social justice and human rights for all people. Not it’s time for Canada to walk the many more steps in that direction.
