Rogers has launched a brand new app that could change the way you pay for purchases. The “Suretap Wallet” is an application that can store payment cards in your smartphone and allow you to hold up your smartphone at payment terminals anywhere that supports contactless payment.

For merchants and retailers, accepting mobile payments with the Suretap Wallet means no additional or new fees. The app allows you to monitor your balance, add funds, view purchase history and find participating retailers based on your location.

The application is available for download on select Android and BlackBerry 10 smartphones that include near-field-communications capabilities.
