JA and T&T clash over which country is funnier
The ninth annual Comedy Clash showcased some of the best comedic talent representing Trinidad and Jamaica. The show, which is the brainchild of comedians Jay Martin and Jean Paul, offered up good, clean humour to decide which of these rival nations is funnier. Toronto’s Queen Elizabeth Theatre played host to the sold out crowd on Mother’s Day, which came as a surprise and a blessing to the show organizers.

Reel World pays homage to music video directors
With the theatre dimly lit and chairs reclined, producers, artists, directors and fellow industry people were ready to take in the Reel World Film Festival Music Video Night. The 13th annual festival showcased 24 North American music videos ranging in genres from hip-hop and dance to folk.

Kerry Lee Crawford Takes Us Back To Love
The warm atmosphere, the clinking of glasses and the chatter that filled the room were indications of a successful night. Toronto’s corporate community, youth dignitaries and prominent youth organizations came together under one roof, the swank House of Moments, to collaborate efforts to inspire the minds of the youth in our communities, with the Love Is What Love Does event presented by Tha Love Project.

R&B fans in Toronto were given a special treat courtesy of Frontline Entertainment last month when singers Omarion and Jeremih headlined at the Guvernment nightclub. Fans trickled in to hear from Toronto’s own comedian Trixx, who hosted the evening, and enjoy drinks and music from a host of DJs.

Kid Ink Concert turns up T Dot fans
Toronto’s Guvernment nightclub was a zoo when Cali’s Kid Ink hit up the city, presented by Frontline Entertainment. Underage fans were herded into the small second floor that overlooked the main venue, far from the stage and the madness below them. The DJs were on point all night. DJ Scratches, Charlie B and Wikked each took turns to spin a set as the audience danced, screamed and… drank from the time the doors opened.

Keyshia Cole Delivers Memorable Set For T. Dot
Despite the pouring rain and windy weather, many stood at the front of Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall, on an April evening, waiting for doors to open for a concert featuring headliner Keyshia Cole-Gibson. Not surprisingly, the doors opened later than expected, however the show started right on time. Even with a close to empty auditorium, the show went on.
