Whether it’s all black, a tux or a three-piece, a suit adds an extra touch to a man’s appearance.

The Kenneth Cole “Awearness” collection puts an urban and contemporary twist on the traditional suit.

The line features a wide range of ultra-modern menswear. With dark greys and blacks as the main colours chosen for the collection, the suits appeal to today’s young men with a focus on “slim fit”.

“Awearness” boasts a variety of pieces within the collection, with over six different suits, four different pairs of dress pants and a large selection of ties.

This line stands out among others with its design.

Kenneth Cole fuses different shapes and patterns like stripes, coloured dots and checked squares into one collection says Richard Bull, vice president of merchandising at Moores Clothing for Men, where the line is sold.

Bull knows a thing or two about dressing well in a suit. He says a suit helps make a stunning first impression.

“A suit and tie commands a little more respect; if you know how to dress, then you know what you’re talking about,” he adds.

“By looking good for good you’re getting something out of it … You’re also giving back to a group of people that deserve our support and help.”

The “Awearness” collection (Awareness + wear) raises awareness for True Patriot Love, a charitable foundation that works towards the betterment of veterans and their families when they return from war.

Moores will donate proceeds from each customer purchase of the “Awearness” line to the foundation. The idea is to ‘look good, for good.’

“By looking good for good you’re getting something out of it,” states Bull. “You’re looking good, but you’re also giving back to a group of people that deserve our support and help.”
