The hit ABC drama series “Scandal” has not only taken television by storm, but will now be making its ways to the racks of the coveted fashion retailer, The Limited. The line is inspired by the Emmy-nominated program and designed by actress Kerry Washington and costume designer Kim Paolo.

Based on the trendy and sophisticated television character, Olivia Pope, the two women share the protagonist’s noteworthy attire with not only fans, but also fashion forward thinkers.

Bringing the patented style of Pope’s distinguished gloves, tailored pea coats and trousers to the everyday woman is the main goal of the line. It’s about making every woman feel a similar level of importance and sense of empowerment to that of Washington’s character. It’s a line that also carries with it a colour scheme of hues like beige, white and grey – a pallet of quintessential flare and timelessness.

Best part is, you don’t have to break the bank to adopt the styles of a fictional White House either. With the line starting at $49 and offering an array of pieces, being the everyday Olivia Pope can be simple and cost effective. Making its way to stores and online in September 2014, the line kicks off fall 2014 with a subtle, yet powerful bang, as this creative collaboration will surely turn heads and have many wanting to be in starlet threads.
