The debut of Palladium Boots and SWIMS Fall/Winter 2014 collections couldn’t have come at a better time. With selections ranging from waterproof loafers and durable boots to warm fashionable coats and jackets, the collection features key pieces that can be worn during these current, and future, transition seasons. Here’s a look at the ones that caught stylist Aliecia Brissett’s eye:

George Chukka (SWIMS F/W 2014)
Fusing waterproof durability and runway chicness, this sneaker is a must have menswear item for the season to come. Its modern style disguises as a rain boot that can be worn during the rainy and windy seasons, and its neutral colours make it simple to be paired with any fall/winter attire.

George Derby, Lace Loafer and Penny Loafer (SWIMS F/W 2014)
These waterproof loafers are not only a SWIMS signature, but will also be a favourite amongst many with their slip-on, slip-off comfort, and versatility that can be paired with any outfit. The colours, which range from deep browns and cooling navy blues to sleek blacks and dark charcoals, are fitting earth tones.

Dora Boot (SWIMS F/W 2014)
Not leaving out the ladies for the season SWIMS debuts its Dora Boot for women. An array of short rain booties is what every woman needs in her shoe closet. With these versatile colours such as navy blue, forest green, orange and yellow, the woman on the go will be stylish on those rainy/foggy days.

Military Blanket Collection (Palladium F/W 2014)
Drawing upon the brand’s military roots, these lightweight, durable boots infuse the traditional army blanket fabrics to accent the fashionable footwear. With warmth also being a must, the military blanket collection has wool lining along the inside of the boots to ensure cozy comfort for those crisp fall mornings and howling winter nights.

Alpha Industries Collection (Palladium F/W 2014)
Collaborating with Alpha Industries was a pleasure for Palladium. The merging of the two companies blossomed into the creation of a series of waterproof, yet lightweight military style boots that range from black to red and feature yellow waterproof lining inside. Getting inspiration from the popular hit movie of the 80s, Top Gun, the shoes accompany matching military style bomber jackets that come in the same range of colours. The reversible jacket not only can be paired with its accompanying boot, but any other neutral tone footwear for either men or women.
